Dunnet Head

Dunnet Head (škotsko-gelski: Ceann Dùnaid) je poluotok na sjeveru Škotske u područnom vijeću Highland. Dunnet Head je najsjevernija točka Britanskih otoka.

Geografija

Dunnet Head strši u more tjesnaca Pentland odnosno Atlanskog oceana u dubinu od oko 5 km. Sastavljen je od pješčenjaka, obale mu se strmoglavljuju u more visokim klifovima. Ima formu zaobljenog platoa visokog oko 30 metara, u čijoj se bazi dižu brda visoka 129 metara. Na krajnjem sjevernom rtu godine 1831. podignut je 105 metara visoki svjetionik.
