Historija

1900. 130
1902. 155
1922. 50
1938. Preko 400
1961. 5 000
1975. 1 200
1990. Oko 55 000
2006. Preko 100 000

Incredible collection of tens of thousands of crosses. Some are huge whilst others are tiny. Some are elaborate whilst others are basic.

The photos online don’t do justice at the number and beauty of these crosses. You need to visit the place to realise just how many crosses have been planted there. Plant your own too.

Definitely a must visit in Lithuania. Don't forget to bring your cross to leave it there. Be original and respectful

If you want to park your car free do not drive to tourist stop. Drive directly to the hill of crosses, over the bridge, along the barrier. But parking fee is 3 lit only.

Very nice and spooky place to come at night. It has around 50 lamps to lighting the place up.
