A trip to the Chateau de Beaumesnil in Normandy, and in glorious sunshine, gave me an opportunity to get some decent infra-red shots whilst we are over in France.
This 17th century chateau even has the mound next to it where the original building was, built sometime in the 13th century.
At the top of the driveway are two fantastic lions, guarding the route across the bridge and framing the entrance.
